Get to Montenegro by Boat

There are regular car-ferry services between Bar and Bari, and less frequently between Bar and Ancona, in Italy. Ferries are operated by three companies: Montenegro Lines, and the Italian Mercur-Adriatica & Co, based in Bari, or depending on the season, generally leaving port (at both ends) between 21.00 and 23.00, arriving the next morning after an early breakfast ( around 07.00 and 08.00). One-way passenger fares range from about 40 Euro for a reclining seat to 110 euro for the best cabin. Return fares show a significant saving. Cars are around 55 euro each way. Meals and modest embarkation taxes are extra.
