Employment Statistics                                                        Pictures of Montenegro  In accordance with the Programme of Statistical Surveys and the Methodological Guidelines, the statistical Office monitors movements of employees by its regular monthly and semi-annual surveys on employees and employee's salaries . (wages) (forms Rad-1 I Rad-1P). These surveys cover employees in enterprises, institutions, cooperatives and other organizations weather socially, privately, state owned or a property of cooperative. Data are collected by personnel records kept by legal persons on the basis of Law on Registers related to Labour and Employment (Official Journal RMN, No. 69\2003). Due to lack of promptness in submitting these data to the Statistical office by reporting units, aiming at objectivity in presenting data on number of employees in 2004, the Office made certain corrections of data in cooperation with the Health fund and the Pension Fund of the Republic, so that corrected data are shown in this table. Data are given on the level of the Republic and by sector of activity as well as by sex, while more detailed data are published in appropriate publications.
