Gross domestic product                                           Pictures of Montenegro  GROSS DOMESTIC (MATERIAL) PRODUCT The calculation of gross domestic (material) product and national income has been carried out by material product system method, proceeding from establishing the value of production and services of productive units. Data on enterprises are derived from balance sheets and other book keeping documentation collected through the Complex Annual Report (KGI-01). GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT The most common and the most important aggregate in the System of National Accounts is gross domestic product, which is a measure of production. The calculation of gross domestic product was done in accordance with the System of National Accounts ( SNA 93 ) and European System of National Accounts ( ESA 95 ). GDP measures the total value of products and services provided by resident institutional units over the given period. The calculation of GDP include all the activities within the frame of production defined by SNA 93 and ESA 95 and covers the whole territory of Montenegro.
