Many people consider Ada Bojana to be a natural reservation of national park type. This is a river isle, at the very end of Great Beach, at the spot where the river Bojana gets separated from the beach. The isle is a triangle, with the Bojana River from two sides and the Adriatic Sea from the third one.
Plavsko Jezero is a lake in Plav municipality, in northeastern Montenegro. It is a glacial lake located between the Prokletije and Visitor mountain ranges at an altitude of 906 m above sea level, and extends north-south for some 2,160 m. Its average width is 920 m, and its maximum depth is nine meters. It is the largest and most beautiful lake in Plav, and is also the best known tourist attraction in the area.
Pivsko Jezero is an artificial lake created by the construction of Hydro Power Plant ; in 1975. There is a dam, near village Mratinje 10 kilometers from Scepan Polje, which is 220 meters high and it is one of the highest in Europe.
Slansko Jezero means “Salt lake”. It is a karstic lake that lies not far from Nikšić, on the road to Dubrovnik. The lake is 617 meters above sea level. It is shallow and has a very indented form with a great many small islands.
Sveti Nikola island is located opposite to the town of Budva, 1 km from Budva’s old town. The island is 2 km long, and it has an area of 36 hectares (89 acres). The highest point on the island is a cliff that rises 121 meters (397 ft) above the sea. The island is a popular excursion site in the Budva area.
