The Millennium Bridge most or Milenijum most is a cable-stayed bridge that spans the Morača River, in Podgorica, Montenegro. The bridge was designed by the Slovenian company Ponting and Mladen Ulićević, a professor at Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica.
Medun is a settlement located 13 km northeast of the capital Podgorica. The village houses the archaeological site of the ancient fortified city of Medeon, which was used throughout history until the end of the Middle Ages. It is situated in the clan area of the Gornji Kuči, one of the highland clans. In the 2003 census, it had 108 inhabitants. As Mariano Bolizza described in 1614, It is situated on a beautiful hill on a cleft in the mountainside, between two other mountains, overlooking a very spacious valley.
Podgorica is the capital and largest city of Montenegro. It is located at 42°28’12N, 19°16’48E , 44 m above sea level. A census in 2003 put city’s population at 136,473. The favorable geographical position of Podgorica, at the confluence of the Ribnica and Moraca rivers, on the meeting point of fertile Zeta plain and Bjelopavlici Valley has made the city an attractive location for settlement.
