Ali Pasini Izvori, near Gusinje, is a series of large springs that bubble out of the ground feeding Plavsko jezero lake about 10 kilometer away.
The spring is named after Ali Pasha Saanagic also known as Ali Pasha Gusinjksi, an Albanian commander who attempted to impose Albanian control on this region following the Berlin Congress of 1878 which defined the area within the borders of Montenegro. The scenery and colours are gorgeous, especially at sunset. In wintertime the scenery becomes fairy tale like, falling snow, springs in all points of the compasses and snowy white surroundings and dark contrast creeks.
