Gornja Lastva is a small settlement of the Mediterranean type on the hill of Vrmac separating Kotor and Tivat bays. It is located at an altitude of 300 meter above sea level, 3 kilometer away from the main road, on the sunlit slope of Vrmac commanding a spectacular view of Tivat bay and even farther, over the peninsula of Lustica.

Gornja Lastva is renowned for its authentic architectural marvels, presenting the true atmosphere of Montenegrin villages. The most striking example of this is traditional stone houses, among which some managed to maintain their original looks dating back to the 19th century. These objects give a glimpse into Montenegro’s rich history and add to the village’s rustic atmosphere.
