Montenegro is best know as a summer destination but the country has loads of winter sports for both cross-country and downhill skiing. Plus, virgin nature of the Montenegrin lakes, rivers, and its mountains promise you to have a delightful snow time.

Zabljak and Kolasin, which are located at the feet of the mountain ranges of Durmitor and Bjelasica, are very inviting for Skiing. Astoundingly, for 120 days a year, Zabljak is delimited with snow. A traditional skiing competition “Golden Fox” is organized each year on Bjelasica and a snowboard competition also takes place as a part of February winter festival. Lots of training schools are also opened in skiing club “ Zabljak”, mountaineering–skiing association “Durmitor” and snowboard club “Savin Kuk” to make it your favorite of all. Thus, the country does not give you any reason for boredom and requesst you to skiing specially from December to April.
