The small orthodox church of Sveti Luka in Kotor“s old town.

The church of Sveti Luka is a romanic church built in 1195 A.D. It miraculously survived a series of earthquakes, the last of which was in 1979.Ā  Although this is a small church, it is significant for the town. It contains an orthodox altar and a catholic one.Inside the altars were decorated with gold and frescos. These are the only important pieces of art in the church and chapel. It is so small that only a small group of people can attend a religious celebration.
